Sean Min serves as a Co-Director for the APA Los Angeles Young and Emerging Planners group, contributing guidance to peers who seek career development. As part of his journey into the field, he has contributed mapping for the City of West Hollywood with regard to their Sunset Arts and Advertisement Program update, which became a public facing document for constituents to be informed on the phasing of related projects along Sunset Boulevard. Sean, in collaboration with the Historic Preservation team with the City of West Hollywood, mapped Mills Act properties and other designated sites using a Cultural Resource Inventory and vacancy rates to analyze their elasticity in terms of the housing market. Additionally, his work in community development includes interning with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles to implement Faircloth to RAD (now called Restore-Rebuild) projects, plan reviews, and public record retrieval. Sean is an early-career professional completing his Master’s at the University of Southern California with the Sol Price School of Public Policy, where he has been immersed in the application of planning theory through policy analysis and implementation.
