Denise is an urban planner specializing in hazard mitigation, climate resiliency, and environmental justice. She has served five years in the public sector as a housing policy analyst and coastal planner. She is passionate about climate action and sustainable community development by helping jurisdictions meet statewide goals on housing, short-term climate pollutants, GHG reductions, and infrastructure resiliency. She is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona's Master of Urban and Regional Planning program. On her off time, she likes to travel, tour gastronomic wonders, and play the ukulele.
