The City of Irwindale (City) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to prepare an Open Space Element for the development of a City Council approved Open Space Element of the City of Irwindale.
The entire process, from data collection to the development of the General Plan Amendment for an Open Space Element, will be guided by identifying community values and creating goals for the City’s open spaces, which will be informed through extensive community engagement. This engagement will help address current and future open space needs. The selected consultant(s) will be responsible for facilitating the planning process, drafting the Open Space Element, through to the adoption process in partnership with the City. The open space element will also align with the City’s mission to provide safe, clean, and accessible open spaces for everyone to enjoy.
