Job Description

Transform urban mobility in a dynamic and forward-moving city! The City of Culver City, California, is seeking a Transportation and Mobility Planning Manager (Classification: Transit Planning Manager) to join the Transportation Department. This Planning Manager will oversee many exciting initiatives that will contribute to a world-class mobility system for the city and Westside communities of Los Angeles. They will lead a team of five transportation planners, advancing the city’s mobility initiatives with a forward-thinking and dynamic approach. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mobility, accessibility, and sustainability initiatives and possess strong skills in strategic thinking, project management, team leadership, and communication. They will be an experienced urban planner with a foundational understanding of transit planning, and transportation planning and engineering. This position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative department undergoing many exciting changes to address both current and future mobility challenges and demand.
