Impact Sciences, a women-owned small business, is an environmental planning and consulting firm with headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. Our primary service area is California Environmental Quality Act / National Environmental Policy Act (CEQA/NEPA) compliance. Impact Sciences is a growing company seeking professionals to further our vision and mission.
Impact Sciences is specifically seeking a Project Planner and/or Project Manager for our Los Angeles office. Primary responsibilities include preparing documentation for a wide range of development projects and plans. An ideal candidate must possess effective problem-solving ability and exceptional writing and editing capabilities as well as experience working with public and private clients in a private consulting firm. Strong knowledge of and experience with CEQA and NEPA compliance is a must. At the Project Manager level experience in effectively managing project budgets and timelines is also necessary. The Project Manager role also involves direct client interaction and the preparation of competitive proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
Qualified candidates should have at least a BA/BS in a related discipline, a minimum of 4 years’ experience; or master’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience for the planner position. Project Manager applicants should have a BA/BS in a related discipline, a minimum of 6 years’ experience; or master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience.
