Job Description
The City of Bell is recruiting for an exciting career opportunity in the Community Development Department. We are looking for a team player who will assist the Director with various current planning and long-range planning, and the department’s operations. The Associate Planner will be the planning division lead and instrumental in implementing the General Plan, ensuring adherence to the zoning code, and assisting in promoting the City’s Economic Development Goals.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in urban planning, or a related field. In addition, three (3) years of professional experience in planning, zoning and related community development activities. The ability to speak Spanish is desirable.
