The firm provides a full range of services including due diligence, land planning, constraints analyses, CEQA/NEPA environmental review, permitting and entitlement, and compliance monitoring/reporting. CEQA/NEPA Project Managers and Analysts

Envicom Corporation is seeking self-motivated project managers and analysts to lead and support the preparation of CEQA/NEPA analyses and manage projects/client relationships for a variety of private and public projects. Responsibilities include all aspects of a project including management, research and analysis, client contact, agency coordination, budget control, invoicing, schedule, and subcontractor oversight. This role would also involve business acquisition, proposal writing, client meetings, and general marketing.  Salary will be commensurate with experience coupled with opportunity for growth.  Compensation will include a comprehensive benefits package.

Required Experience / Skills / Education

  • Candidates must have direct professional or educational experience with preparation of CEQA/NEPA documents.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations related to land use, planning, permitting, and environmental protection. 
  • Working knowledge of land use permitting processes, environmental review, and local agency policies and procedures related to planning and development.
  • Excellent skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, objective professional writing, interpersonal communication, and organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks within deadlines in a dynamic workplace environment.
  • Minimum BA/BS degree in environmental, planning, public policy, or earth sciences related major.

Preferred Experience / Skills / Education

  • 5 to 10+ years of experience managing the preparation of scientifically objective and legally defensible CEQA/NEPA documents.
  • Excellent skills in delegation and teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration, and synthesizing information for the full range of environmental factors affected by project impacts.
  • Experience productively coordinating key project data flows between architects, civil engineers, land use attorneys, applicants, and public agency staff.
