Under the general direction of the Planning & Modal Programs Program Management Division Chief, the incumbent provides leadership, vision, guidance, and direction to the Senate Bill (SB) 1 Program staff. The incumbent is responsible for providing recommendations to implement, maintain, and improve SB 1 Program guidance, policies, business processes, and procedures to support the successful development and delivery of SB 1 programs. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for increasing departmental program management efficiency, analyzing available data, and communicating complex engineering and delivery concepts to a variety of audiences including statewide managers and external affairs. The incumbent will work closely and collaboratively with a diverse team of managers and subject matter experts representing Caltrans functional areas and directs the development, adoption, implementation, and status reporting of enterprise data and geospatial governance and related activities
