Under the direction of the Senior Transportation Planner, Branch Chief of the District 5 (D5) Community Engagement Branch within the D5 Division of Transportation Planning (DOTP), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs at the more responsible and complex technical analytical level, taking technically accurate environmental and transportation planning documents and ensuring that they effectively communicate to the general public utilizing state and federal requirements for format, content, and length. The AGPA edits the text for proper word usage, sentence structure, style, clarity, and organization as well as spelling, punctuation and capitalization. The AGPA fulfills the mandated role in the Quality Assurance/Quality Control process, which requires a technical editor review of National Environmental Policy Act documents
