Job Description
Performs complex professional planning duties related to the development and implementation of the city’s planning and zoning ordinances and regulations, General Plan, Local Coastal Plan and Specific Plans.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Landscape Architecture, or a closely related field. Two years of recent, paid work experience in government related planning. Master’s degree in Urban Planning or a closely related field and/or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) registration is desirable. Possession of a valid class C driver license.
