Job Description
Ventura County invites applications for a Planner III – Biologist position with an excellent benefits package and salary range from $67,412.47 to $94,730.03 annually; salary dependent upon career experience and qualifications.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education, skills, and experience in the areas of biology and environmental policy planning. Candidates will assist or perform biology review of current planning projects and should have experience conducting biological surveys. Desired candidates will have some experience as a regulatory specialist enforcing land use and environmental regulations; a Master’s Degree in Biology, Environmental Planning, Natural Resource Conservation, or a closely; and five years of demonstrated work experience related to environmental planning review.
